Application will be
made by the Ministries of Education or by corresponding institutions in
participating countries. |

Each country can
participate in not more than 3 projects. |
|
3- |
Each project will be
done by not more than 2 students. |
|
4- |
Only the participants
who are born before 1986 and without prior enrollment at a university or an
equivalent post-secondary education, can participate in the Olympiad. |

The deadline for
application is 30 May 2001. |
|
6- |
Each participating
country must send the application form to the Coordination Center until 30
May 2001. |

The schedule of the competition is below; 26 June 2001 Opening Ceremony and Setting up the stands 27 June 2001 Presentation of the projects 28 June 2001 Sightseeing 29 June 2001 Closing Ceremony 30 June 2001 Sightseeing 1 July 2001 Departures Note: After the Closing Ceremony the participants may depart from
Ashgabat without participating the Sightseeing program in 30 June. |

The Coordination
Center will cover all official expenses for the participants & team
leaders, including food & accommodation during the period of the official
program (25 June to 1 July 2001).The cost of travel to and from Ashgabat and
visa fees are each country’s responsibility. |

Each country should
send not more than 1 team leader. |
|
10- |
The jury of the
Olympiad will be formed by the team leaders from each country. |

Each participant will
defend his/her project by answering to the Jury. |
|
12- |
The criteria in
evaluating the project such as scientific value, feasibility, content of the
report etc. will be set by the jury before the competition. |

Awarding will be
carried out in accordance with the number of projects in participation; |
|
14- |
The Exhibition Stands
will be in size 120 x 105 cm. The participants should fill their stands with
documents, pictures etc. describing their project. |
